When public broadcaster YLE started its multimedia current affairs concept Kioski in 2015, it began as a daily, live broadcast. The studio was lightweight; it was built around a Blackmagic ATEM with Caspar CGI for graphics and shot with Sony FS7:s and robocams from Panasonic. YLE wanted a young and open-minded production team, so they turned to Parad. We gathered a crew of two directors, four camera ops and two technical operations managers for the first 100-episode pilot season. After the production had settled, Parad trained YLE’s own technicians how to use the platform before we stepped aside.
